Baba Simba is a fully washed coffee, graded AA in Kenya.
This particular coffee is of micro lot harvest through smallholder farms, from the famous Embu coffee growing region.
These farms are situated at altitude of 1,500 – 1,900 metres above sea level,
located north east of Nairobi, Kenya, at the foothills of Mt. Kenya.

After cautiously hand-picking the ripe cherries, the cherries are delivered to the select washing station for de-pulping.
Left in a controlled fermentation process before the beans are sorted by screen size – category AA constituting of the larger beans.

The coffee beans are dried on raised beds and carefully monitoring the moisture levels.
Thereafter the coffee were sent to The New Kenya Planters Cooperative Union (NKPCU), Sagana Coffee Milling Plant, for exporting.

We love the vibrant flavours of this particular coffee and this is the first Kenya coffee to feature in Tad.

Tad Coffee works with 2nd Mile Coffee to bring you this amazing coffee.
