This coffee is picked and hand sorted by Jesus and his wife. The cherries were placed in the sealed stainless steel tanks for 50 hours, de-pulped, washed twice and left out to dry on raised beds until the seeds reach the ideal moisture content.
Jesus worked as a coffee picker for 25 years, started at an early age of 14 years old. He has worked in few regions, like in Inza, Cauca and La Plata Huila. His marriage to Maria in 2010 brought him to Buesaco, which he took over Maria’s family farm and started growing and producing coffee.
